1.) Do you notarize documents for people in hospitals, assisted living or medical facilities?
Ans: Yes, I can notarize document for people in hospitals and or medical facilities.
2.) What is a loan signing agent?
Ans: A loan signing agent is a Notary Public who has experience with the proper execution of the loan documents, and are usually hired by an Escrow, Title or Signing service. The Signing agent is responsible for going through the documents and making sure the information is correct and the client(s) initials and signs correctly all documents. I can briefly explain a document, and if there are questions, I will reach out to the necessary contact person and get them answered.
3.) What kind of identification is required for a notarization?
Ans: Acceptable forms of identification are a passport, drivers licence or government issued ID that is current or has expired in the past 5 years.
4.) What does a Notary do?
Ans: As a Notary it's my duty to screen the signers for their true identity and and be sure that the signer is capable to sign without distress or intimidation, and is aware of the document being signed.
5.) Do you have an office?
Ans: That's a great question. I am a Mobile Notary and Loan Signing Agent, so I am available to meet where it is convenient for my clients. That may be at your office or a coffee shop. Give ma a call so we can discuss the details.

6.) Can you notarize a document that is written in a foreign language?
Ans: Yes. There must be a direct communication between the Notary and the signer, whether that is english or another language. As notaries we may not relay on interpreters to communicate. The notary would need to refer the client to someone that speaks their language.
7.) Is there a fee for having documents notarized?
Ans: Yes there is a fee that is set by each state for notarizing documents. In california ii is $15 per signature per document per person. This is usually for general notary work. If you are having loan documents signed as a buyer, seller, refi or reverse mortgage, the price is usually per package.
8.) What form of payment do you accept?
Ans: I can take cash, check, Zelle or Venmo as payment for notary services.
9.) Should I sign my documents ahead of time?
Ans: Most notarizations require that a document MUST be signed in the presence of a notary. Others may be signed ahead of time.
10.) How long does it take to get a document notarized?
Ans: It's a fairly simple process, and depends on how many documents need to be notarized. It's important to prepare for the notary. You need to have the proper identification and the documents filled out completely. If there are spaces that don't apply to you, then you should write N/A or line through and initial.
11.) Can a notary public witness a signature on a will or trust?
Ans: Yes. Wills usually require two witnesses that are disinterested parties of the will. They are not usually notarized, all though sometimes clients want them to be.
12.) Can a notary public decline to notarize a document?
Ans: Yes they can. There could be various reasons the the notarization would be declined, maybe the ID was expired, the documents were incomplete or there were questions that the client may have that couldn't be resolved at the signing. As notaries we always try to resolve any issues at the appointment.
13.) Can a notary public certify a document as true copy of original?
Ans: Yes they can. The Notary must compare the copy to the original to verify that the copy is in fact, identical to the original document.
14.) Can you notarize a document for someone who is not physically present?
Ans: Yes. This is called a Subscribing Witness. This person personally know the signer and has no beneficial interest in the document or transaction.This person watches a principal sign a document (or who personally takes the principal's acknowledgement) then subscries (signs) his or her own name on the document. Then this witness personally appears before the Notary with the document and takes an oath or affirmation from the Notary to the effect the the principle did willing sign or acknowledge signing the document.
